American artist Man Ray (1890–1976) was a visionary whose radical experiments in photography, painting, sculpture, and film redefined modern art. He pioneered the ‘rayograph,’ creating mysterious images by placing objects on light-sensitive paper. This exhibition, the first to situate this innovation within his wider work of the 1910s and 1920s, includes loans from The Mayor Gallery.
