We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Desmond Morris, a remarkable artist, thinker, and dear friend of The Mayor Gallery. A pioneering figure whose practice spanned painting, surrealism, and the study of human behaviour, Morris brought a singular curiosity and wit to everything he did. His artistic vision, playful and incisive, remained rooted in a lifelong fascination with the complexities of human nature. He will be greatly missed by all of us at the gallery.
